Tasty (AND HEALTHY) Peanut Butter Cookies!

Hey guys! Recently I have been eating very healthy, so I've had to find ways to making healthy food fun and tasty. Thus, I needed a way to cheat around eating cookies because I cannot resist cookies. So when my friend (who's vegan) gave me this recipe for healthy cookies, I knew that these would be really good. Without further ado, I give you my healthy peanut butter cookie recipe!

My Trip to Ocean City, Maryland

Hey guys! I have been VERY busy lately because I have spent the week at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Personally, Ocean City is one of my favorite places of all time, mostly because of the gorgeous beaches, lively boardwalk, and delicious food. So, without further ado, here is a quick snapshot of what my week in Ocean City was like.

One of the first things that my family and I tend to do when we visit Ocean City is walk the boardwalk. The boardwalk is basically over two miles of shops to one side, and the beach to the other. You can do anything from shopping to eating out while overlooking the beautiful ocean and people watching. One of my favorite things about the boardwalk is that there are bright, colorful kites that took up a section of the beach. They were so gorgeous to see walking the boardwalk.

After our little adventure on the boardwalk, we decided to venture into the pier. The pier has a carnival- like feel; from the classic ferris wheel and carnival games to roller coasters and a huge attraction that shoots you up into the air, the pier is great for everyone of all ages.

The next day, I decided to try my hand at paddle boarding. At first, I believed that it would be a piece of cake and I would get it down right away. Let me tell you, that definitely did not happen. At first, I couldn't even stand up so I sat on my knees for a good half hour paddling. When I tried to stand up, literally 30 seconds later I lost my balance and belly flopped into the water. However, once I got back up, I slowly started to get the hang of it.

One of the last things that I did with my family was to go out to eat at a restaurant called "The Shark". It was a very charming little place that had a complete view of the bay. Better yet, the food was literally the BEST food that I have ever eaten in my entire life (I couldn't get a picture of my food that I got because it was too dark, but I got monkfish which was absolutely delicious). It was by far the best way to end this adventure.

That's all I have for you guys for today! Make sure you subscribe/ comment down below if you have been to Ocean City, Maryland and what your favorite memory their I'd love to hear it. See you guys soon!

Favorites of the week

Hey guys! I know that I haven't done this in almost three weeks, so I have a TON to talk about. If you aren't familiar with my weekly posts, I pretty much talk about my top 3 favorite things of the week. It can be anything from a product to a song. I hope you guys enjoy!

The first favorite that I want to talk about is John Legend's latest release of "You and I". I came across one of his interviews with Kathy Lee and Hoda on the Today show (who I absolutely looovvee watching). He was talking about the debut of the music video for this song, so I was very curious and decided to check it out. Not only do I like the song, but the music video is also very powerful too. John Legend tells a story, and he portrays it through how we look at ourselves through a mirror, but the overall message that I got out of it is that every single one of us is beautiful, no matter who we are or what he have experienced. I think this is a very beautiful song, music video, and message that John Legend has created. You can listen and watch his music video here.

The second thing that I want to talk about is a YouTube channel that I have recently discovered. The channel is called mylifeaseva and this has quickly become one of my favorite channels of all time. Her videos vary from fashion, to makeup, to lifestyle videos, but her personality is pretty much what drew me to this channel. Usually, most YouTubers do not really tend to have very much of a personality at all. However, Eva makes her videos very funny yet entertaining and informational. If you want to watch some of her videos, you can click here to her YouTube channel. I definitely recommend you check out her videos!

Finally, the last thing that I want to talk about is a product that I have been obsessing over since my trip to Ocean City. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of them before, but Alex and Ani are a jewelry brand that have some of the most adorable bracelets. Not only are their bracelets so cute, but they all have a meaning behind them. For example, when I went to Ocean City, I got the Tree of Life, and it stands for nature and growth. There are hundreds of different bracelets with hundreds of different meanings that you can choose from, so you are sure to find one that fits you perfectly. You can find Alex and Ani products at a lot of jewelry stores or you can go to their website here.

That's all I have for you guys! Make sure you subscribe to my blog via email or bloglovin! Leave a comment down below what your favorite of the week is and make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel. See you soon!

Go Shopping With Me!

Hey guys! As a said last week, I couldn't blog/vlog because I was in Ocean City, Maryland celebrating the 4th of July.

But anyways, I went adventuring around Maryland a little and I came across a town called Berlin. And this place gave me A LOT of new items that I never have heard of in my life, but are really cool. Berlin is by far an absolute go- to place to find beautiful new products.

But first before I get to a few things that I found, let me just spend a moment talking about this cute little town. It was named one of the best towns in America for 2014, and it's only 10 minutes away from Ocean City. So it was definitely worth checking out.

I am SO glad we did. This is a very charming town that you can find pretty much anything you wanted. The town is very old fashioned- looking, but it is a very cute place. They have everything from jewelry stores, to restaraunts, to even a little cupcake shop.

The first store that I walked in was called Sisters, and a TON of things that I loved. I'm personally a Grumpy Cat fan, and they even had a whole shelf towards Grumpy Cat (yay!!).

A product that I will mention from Sisters is this jewelry organizer that I saw. My jewelry often gets very disorganized. I'm pretty sure every girl can relate to having a necklace that is all knotted up and it takes an eternity to fix. That's why I really liked this jewelry organizer; I have never heard of Lori Leigh Designs, but I am very glad that I found it here.

This chic little organizer can be used to store virtually any type of jewelry. To me, there are two things that makes this jewelry organizer stand out. First is they aren't boring or bland, but they are actually very cute and it is very easy to take with you when you are traveling. The second thing is the way that they can store jewelry. My jewelry box is pretty much a little box, and when I put a ton of different earrings or necklaces, everything is pretty much in one big mesh of stuff. Lori Leigh's jewelry boxes are very different. It has 3 different trays: one for earrings, one for necklaces and bracelets, and one for rings. It is pretty much a mini vanity that you can take with you anywhere. If you're interested in these jewelry boxes, you can click the link here.

Next up was a charming little jewelry store. I initially came in with the intention to just look and not buy. That definitely did not turn out as planned.

I ran into a brand called Alex and Ani , and their charm bracelets were adorable. They all have a deeper/symbol or meaning, which I really love.  They are usually only around $30, so they aren't too overly expensive. They would make a perfect gift for someone you know, or hey even yourself. This is definitely going to make next week's favorites post! If you want to check out these adorable bracelets, just click here.

Finally, before leaving Berlin, we just had to stop at the cupcake shop called Cupcakes in Bloom. I typically am not a huge cupcake or cake fan, but these cupcakes were REALLY good. I tried out a german chocolate cupcake and it was up there in the top 5 of the best cupcakes I have ever had. If you ever go to Ocean City, you NEED to stop by Berlin to pick up some of their cupcakes!

Overall, this cute little town has something for everyone; from cupcake bakeries to jewelry shops, you are sure to have a great time in Berlin, Maryland.

Tell me what you guys think of this tiny town and if you have ever traveled here. Make sure you subscribe and follow me on Bloglovin and YouTube. Talk to you guys soon!
