Tasty (AND HEALTHY) Peanut Butter Cookies!

Hey guys! Recently I have been eating very healthy, so I've had to find ways to making healthy food fun and tasty. Thus, I needed a way to cheat around eating cookies because I cannot resist cookies. So when my friend (who's vegan) gave me this recipe for healthy cookies, I knew that these would be really good. Without further ado, I give you my healthy peanut butter cookie recipe!

What you need:
1 cup of dry oats
1/3 cup of honey

1 tsp. vanilla

In a bowl, mix all of these ingredients together. Then, roll them into small balls. Refrigerate for about 30 minute and enjoy!!

I hope you love this recipe as much as I do; not only are they healthy but they are vegan and extremely easy to make. Tell me down below what you guys think and I'll see you next week!

My Trip to Ocean City, Maryland

Hey guys! I have been VERY busy lately because I have spent the week at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Personally, Ocean City is one of my favorite places of all time, mostly because of the gorgeous beaches, lively boardwalk, and delicious food. So, without further ado, here is a quick snapshot of what my week in Ocean City was like.

One of the first things that my family and I tend to do when we visit Ocean City is walk the boardwalk. The boardwalk is basically over two miles of shops to one side, and the beach to the other. You can do anything from shopping to eating out while overlooking the beautiful ocean and people watching. One of my favorite things about the boardwalk is that there are bright, colorful kites that took up a section of the beach. They were so gorgeous to see walking the boardwalk.

After our little adventure on the boardwalk, we decided to venture into the pier. The pier has a carnival- like feel; from the classic ferris wheel and carnival games to roller coasters and a huge attraction that shoots you up into the air, the pier is great for everyone of all ages.

The next day, I decided to try my hand at paddle boarding. At first, I believed that it would be a piece of cake and I would get it down right away. Let me tell you, that definitely did not happen. At first, I couldn't even stand up so I sat on my knees for a good half hour paddling. When I tried to stand up, literally 30 seconds later I lost my balance and belly flopped into the water. However, once I got back up, I slowly started to get the hang of it.

One of the last things that I did with my family was to go out to eat at a restaurant called "The Shark". It was a very charming little place that had a complete view of the bay. Better yet, the food was literally the BEST food that I have ever eaten in my entire life (I couldn't get a picture of my food that I got because it was too dark, but I got monkfish which was absolutely delicious). It was by far the best way to end this adventure.

That's all I have for you guys for today! Make sure you subscribe/ comment down below if you have been to Ocean City, Maryland and what your favorite memory their I'd love to hear it. See you guys soon!

Favorites of the week

Hey guys! I know that I haven't done this in almost three weeks, so I have a TON to talk about. If you aren't familiar with my weekly posts, I pretty much talk about my top 3 favorite things of the week. It can be anything from a product to a song. I hope you guys enjoy!

The first favorite that I want to talk about is John Legend's latest release of "You and I". I came across one of his interviews with Kathy Lee and Hoda on the Today show (who I absolutely looovvee watching). He was talking about the debut of the music video for this song, so I was very curious and decided to check it out. Not only do I like the song, but the music video is also very powerful too. John Legend tells a story, and he portrays it through how we look at ourselves through a mirror, but the overall message that I got out of it is that every single one of us is beautiful, no matter who we are or what he have experienced. I think this is a very beautiful song, music video, and message that John Legend has created. You can listen and watch his music video here.

The second thing that I want to talk about is a YouTube channel that I have recently discovered. The channel is called mylifeaseva and this has quickly become one of my favorite channels of all time. Her videos vary from fashion, to makeup, to lifestyle videos, but her personality is pretty much what drew me to this channel. Usually, most YouTubers do not really tend to have very much of a personality at all. However, Eva makes her videos very funny yet entertaining and informational. If you want to watch some of her videos, you can click here to her YouTube channel. I definitely recommend you check out her videos!

Finally, the last thing that I want to talk about is a product that I have been obsessing over since my trip to Ocean City. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of them before, but Alex and Ani are a jewelry brand that have some of the most adorable bracelets. Not only are their bracelets so cute, but they all have a meaning behind them. For example, when I went to Ocean City, I got the Tree of Life, and it stands for nature and growth. There are hundreds of different bracelets with hundreds of different meanings that you can choose from, so you are sure to find one that fits you perfectly. You can find Alex and Ani products at a lot of jewelry stores or you can go to their website here.

That's all I have for you guys! Make sure you subscribe to my blog via email or bloglovin! Leave a comment down below what your favorite of the week is and make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel. See you soon!

Go Shopping With Me!

Hey guys! As a said last week, I couldn't blog/vlog because I was in Ocean City, Maryland celebrating the 4th of July.

But anyways, I went adventuring around Maryland a little and I came across a town called Berlin. And this place gave me A LOT of new items that I never have heard of in my life, but are really cool. Berlin is by far an absolute go- to place to find beautiful new products.

But first before I get to a few things that I found, let me just spend a moment talking about this cute little town. It was named one of the best towns in America for 2014, and it's only 10 minutes away from Ocean City. So it was definitely worth checking out.

I am SO glad we did. This is a very charming town that you can find pretty much anything you wanted. The town is very old fashioned- looking, but it is a very cute place. They have everything from jewelry stores, to restaraunts, to even a little cupcake shop.

The first store that I walked in was called Sisters, and a TON of things that I loved. I'm personally a Grumpy Cat fan, and they even had a whole shelf towards Grumpy Cat (yay!!).

A product that I will mention from Sisters is this jewelry organizer that I saw. My jewelry often gets very disorganized. I'm pretty sure every girl can relate to having a necklace that is all knotted up and it takes an eternity to fix. That's why I really liked this jewelry organizer; I have never heard of Lori Leigh Designs, but I am very glad that I found it here.

This chic little organizer can be used to store virtually any type of jewelry. To me, there are two things that makes this jewelry organizer stand out. First is they aren't boring or bland, but they are actually very cute and it is very easy to take with you when you are traveling. The second thing is the way that they can store jewelry. My jewelry box is pretty much a little box, and when I put a ton of different earrings or necklaces, everything is pretty much in one big mesh of stuff. Lori Leigh's jewelry boxes are very different. It has 3 different trays: one for earrings, one for necklaces and bracelets, and one for rings. It is pretty much a mini vanity that you can take with you anywhere. If you're interested in these jewelry boxes, you can click the link here.

Next up was a charming little jewelry store. I initially came in with the intention to just look and not buy. That definitely did not turn out as planned.

I ran into a brand called Alex and Ani , and their charm bracelets were adorable. They all have a deeper/symbol or meaning, which I really love.  They are usually only around $30, so they aren't too overly expensive. They would make a perfect gift for someone you know, or hey even yourself. This is definitely going to make next week's favorites post! If you want to check out these adorable bracelets, just click here.

Finally, before leaving Berlin, we just had to stop at the cupcake shop called Cupcakes in Bloom. I typically am not a huge cupcake or cake fan, but these cupcakes were REALLY good. I tried out a german chocolate cupcake and it was up there in the top 5 of the best cupcakes I have ever had. If you ever go to Ocean City, you NEED to stop by Berlin to pick up some of their cupcakes!

Overall, this cute little town has something for everyone; from cupcake bakeries to jewelry shops, you are sure to have a great time in Berlin, Maryland.

Tell me what you guys think of this tiny town and if you have ever traveled here. Make sure you subscribe and follow me on Bloglovin and YouTube. Talk to you guys soon!

Makeup Review: Elf vs Rimmel Eyeliner

Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven't posted these past couple of days. I spent the week in Ocean City, Maryland (I'll tell you guys more about that next post).

So today I am here to talk to you all about another one of the products that I recently got in my mini haul post as well as an eyeliner that I previously used in the makeup tutorial post for Iggy Azalea.

The first eyeliner that is in this review is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner. I bought this because it said that it was waterproof, and I really like wearing waterproof wakeup for when it's hot outside or when I'm at the beach. There were some positives to this eyeliner, one of them being that I really liked the tip of this eyeliner. If you really want a smooth and precise line, then this is very easy to do with this product. Also, it wasn't too over the top price-wise; it was only $6. However, there were a few cons to this mascara.

The first is the color. I got black eyeliner, so I expected the color to be very dark and very bold. However, it did not turn out that way at all; this eyeliner was very dull compared to other eyeliners that I have used in the past.

The second red flag was that it did not stay on as long as I expected it to. I was outside for about 4 hours after applying my eyeliner. When I went to the mirror, I could easily see that it was already starting to come off.
Overall, I would give this eyeliner a 3 out of 5.

The second eyeliner was ELF Studio Precision Eyeliner in black. I personally got this because it was a steal of a price, only $3.  Then the idea came to my mind "hey I might as well try it". I was thoroughly surprised. The color was exactly what I wanted, a bold jet black.

There were a few things that I didn't personally like with it. It does stay on well and for a long time, but you have to be careful because it smudges/ is very messy and does not dry very quickly at all. I remember putting it on and the have it all on my upper eyelid within a minute. But otherwise, this eyeliner was surprisingly a very good eyeliner.
Overall, I would give Elf's eyeliner slight edge over Rimmel's eyeliner and give it a 4 out of 5.

Which means, (drum roll please) the winner is... ELF's Precision Eyeliner!

Give both of these eyeliners a try and comment below which one you think is the winner.
Also, let me know what makeup products you guys recommend me try out and review! Make sure you subscribe and I'll see you guys soon!

Favorites of the Week

Hey guys happy Monday! This weekend I went on a Pinterest/ Youtube marathon and spent no joke 3 hours on them each and I LOVE so many of the things that I found. As I was doing this, I thought to myself "hmm I really need to share these things" and I decided every week (Sunday or Monday) I would share with you my favorites of the week. It may be a song, quote, outfit, product, or pretty much whatever else my mind decides it wants to rant on about this week.

So the first thing that made my list was Ed Sheeran. Okay, so Ed Sheeran put out a lot of his new songs on YouTube and let me say, they are really impressive. Not only does Ed Sheeran have a gorgeous voice, but his songs are very different from the other artists out there. That's why one of his new songs, "Don't" is one of my favorites for the week. I'll put a link to it below, but I literally cannot stop playing it, it is so catchy and I'm sure it's going to be a huge new hit.

The second thing that made my favorites of the week is a quote from Marylin Monroe.

Marylin Monroe's quote is perfect; nobody's perfect and it is the imperfections that make us so unique. This quote is really motivational and positive and I think we forget from time to time to just be ourselves. That's why this is my second favorite of the week.

My final favorite comes from Pinterest. I personally am a huge fan of travelling, and recently my Aunt went to Bruxelles, Hungary. At first I had no clue that there was a place called Bruxelles or that it even existed. I decided to check out some pictures of it, and it is stunning. I personally love old fashioned buildings, and Bruxelles is literally full of these beautiful churches and buildings.

It literally looks like it was taken from a fairytale; it looks so charming and it is now on my bucket list of places I want to go.

That is all I have for you guys! Make sure you subscribe to me and follow me on Bloglovin. Comment down below what you recommend for me to check out. It can be literally anything, and who knows, it may pop up in my next week's favorites!

(HEALTHY) Iced Hot Cocoa Recipe

Hey guys! I recently have stumbled across this healthy drink recipe that I absolutely love. Not only is it ridiculously easy to make (seriously it only takes 5 minutes), but it's healthy too! I use it for a postrun snack because it is very high in calcium and protein, which your body needs to gain muscle and recover. Like I said, it's really easy to make and it is a great summer idea for all you hot cocoa lovers out there!

Here's what you need:

  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix (I used Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate Mix)
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  1. Put the hot cocoa and milk in a blender and blend until it is completely mixed together.
  2. Pour into a cup that has your ice cubes in.
  3. Enjoy!

Review: Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick

Hey guys! So in my haul video I mentioned the Maybelline Vivids Lipstick collection. I tried it out and let me tell you, this may be my favorite new lipstick collection! The color is very bright and bold and it stays on extremely well. I am very picky when it comes to lipstick and makeup in general, but this lipstick collection by Maybelline has definitely met my expectations.
So, overall I give this product by Maybelline a 5 out of 5. You NEED to try this lipstick out!

The color that I got in my video was Fuchsia Flash, so I would definitely recommend trying it out if you are going for a bold look. However, there were two other colors in particular that caught my eye.

If you are one of those girls who loves red lipstick, then try out Fire Red. This is a bright red that will definitely be one of your new favorites.

Also, a very different color that I noticed was Shocking Coral. Coral is a very trendy color for this summer, and it is definitely worth trying out.
